Arte Vargas Glassblowing Studio, based in Maple Ridge, British Columbia, has been creating functional glass art since 1958.  Daniel Vargas, trained by his father in the tradition of Mexican glassmaking, combines this heritage with European design influences. Invited to Canada in 1976 for his skill and artistry, he became the first glassblower in British Columbia. Daniel now runs Arte Vargas Glassblowing Studio, producing exceptional, hand-crafted glass pieces.
